Copy file from PPC to desktop

Hello,

How would i copy a file from a PPC to a desktop machine, with activesync
running on the desktop and all control performed by the PPC.

Really, though, the system was not designed to handle this scenario. You
can write code on the PC side to get and put files on the PPC via
ActiveSync, but, when the only code running on the PC is ActiveSync itself,
you really don't have access to the PC's filesystem. If there's a Web
server, FTP server, shared folder, etc., on the PC, then you may be able to
use that...

I will try the shared folder option then. Is it possible to do that through
Activesync or do I need a real network connection.

I've never done it with ActiveSync. Our devices all have network
connections...
