How can I copy members from a distribution list to another list?

Is this a distribution listed hosted on an Exchange server, or a personal
DL?

No need to ask more than once.

RIght-click the DL and drag it just a little way. Release the mouse button
and choose Copy. You'll now have two identical DLs. Open the second and
give it a new name. Adjust the member list as you wish. Save and close.
