I need to copy cd version of A power point presention to A flopy disc, what
are the steps? Do I have to re-format anything. why is this not a easy send
to procedure?

Not quite sure what you mean by a flopy disk, but try this.

Find the PPT file on your CD.
Drag it to your desk top.
Then, lets say your flopy disk is actually a flash/jump drive. Simply drag
the PPT file from your desk top to the drive in which the flash/flopy is
inserted.

It is actually an easy thing to achieve, right click on the presentation and
select 'send to' and then your floppy drive. That's of course assuming that
your presentation is small enough to fit onto floppy.
Once it's on there you may have to right click the presentation again,
select 'Properties' and remove the 'Read Only' status

We can't see what problem you're running into so we can't explain how to fix
the problem w/o more info from you.

What exactly have you tried to copy the file? What happens when you try it?

Keep in mind that a floppy can hold only 1.4 mb of data. If the file's bigger
than that, you won't be able to copy it to floppy.

What they have mentioned.
Also if the file size is bigger than 1.4mb, there are several ways to reduce
the size of the ppt. Check this out if your ppt file is too big:
