Copy and Paste problem using continuous forms subform

Hi,

I have a form with 2 subforms on, both of which are continuous forms. Am
attempting to copy data from one subform to the other (all fields in both
subforms are identical) and only the first 5 + last field (out of 10 fields)
get populated, when the original fields are all filled with data.

Does anyone know of a reason why this would be happening, or possibly a
solution?

Thanks for your time,

Is it really necessary to manually copy and paste? Might an Append query be
simpler? The data is, after all, not stored in the forms but in the underlying
tables.

For that matter, it may not be ideal design to have "the same" data in two
otherwise identical tables. How do these tables differ (in design or in
meaning)?

I'm not certain why the copy and paste isn't working (since I rarely use it in
Access). You might try copying and pasting into Word or Excel to see what is
actually getting into the clipboard.
