Copy and Paste 2007

Anyone heard of this happening....

I was copying and pasting between two workbooks in separate instances of
Excel. No problem... just copying and pasting and then all of a sudden Excel
just wouldn't copy into the 2nd workbook. When I copied from the First
workbook, I could still paste in that same workbook. I could paste in the
second workbook now ... only through special paste and choose text (I am
copying numbers). I then would need to change the text back to numbers in
the second workbook.

Why would it just stop pasting ... when it was working just fine without any
changes that I am aware of...??? ....

Thanks for any insight you can give me.

If I copy the entire workbook (the one being pasted into) it works again in
the fresh workbook. I don't know .. maybe the workbook just became corrupt.
