Copy and past ... and maintain all formats including column widths

JERRY

When selecting and copying a range in one spread sheet and pasting in into
another new sheet, is there a way to maintain all original formatting
including column widths? I try to copy and paste and end up having to
readjust the column width in every column in order to see everything. Thank
you very much for any help here

After selecting the destination cell(s)

Instead of pressing [Enter] to paste...
From the Excel main menu
<edit><paste>
(that will paste All to the destination)

Then...
<edit><paste special>....Check: Column Widths.....Press [Enter]

Is that something you can work with?
