Coping to cd rw

When I use quicken to backup my files to a cd rw disk, it
works fine. Or when I use window explore to drag files
to the cd rw, no problem. But then the next time I start
my computer it says I have files to copy to the cd rw.
I'm running XP Home. But I also get this at work using
XP Pro. Does anyone know how to stop this from
happening? I click on it and delete the files. I don't
know where these are kept. When I put in the disk their
there and I still have the origs. on my HD.

Most probably the files have never been written to the CD at all. The
inbuilt burning does not do so immediately - it puts them in a holding
area which you see when you open the CD drive, and you then have to use
the 'Write Files to CD' on the left. Read more at
