I am a photographer and use my xp computer alot for image
storage. I've been having a dangerous issue when using
the ( control A ) to select all and copy to a backup
drive. Not often but often enough the complete selection
of files are not copied! Only a portion of the selected
are copied. If this is not caught the images not copied
can be deleted and forever lost. What is going on here
and has anyone else come across this problem. The files
copied can be as large as 7 gigabytes in size. Please
help shed light on this issue! Thanks Joe C.

How much RAM do you have in the machine? If you've got less than a gig,
maybe you should get some more. Otherwise try copy less at one time.
