coolsearch malware

I have inadvertently gotten the coolsearch malware.
Spybot, adaware, and the microsoft beta spyware tools will
detect and remove it but it keeps reappearing and adding
unwanted favorites to my system. I'm using Mozilla which is
causing less problems than IE changing my startpage to some
sex site everytime I log on. Anybody have any suggestions?

Hi

- Send a spywarereport to MS about this, menu tools.

- Download/install Ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/

- Restart in safe mode, press F8 during reboot.

- Run Ccleaner, this removes all temporarily junk.

- Run MSAS, choose fullscan.

- Run Adaware

- Restart and pray.......... :)

.

Download CWShredder from Intermute and run it when you
are offline.

To select full scan in MSAS, on the scan page choose scan options > Full
system scan.

Hi Rob,
Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at startup;
Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents
and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;
Run the scan while in safe mode;
If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any
BHO's that you don't recognize.
