i think it might be "split"
choose window / split from the menu, move the lines to where you want them

Hi all,

I have just been sent a spreadsheet where i can scroll through all the
data in an extra line at the top of the page. its like it is a second very
small frame with the same data in it.
Is this a VB thing or can i do it in excel itself??
