Cool & Quiet conflicts with System Standby

R

If my computer switches to standby mode and then powers back up, Cool &
Quiet no longer functions. Is this a general bug with Cool & Quiet? The
instructions say use Minimal power management, which seems to infer a
conflict with other power modes.

Has anyone else tried this? This is really disappointing because in
standby mode the computer is essentially in a powered down state, the
extream version of Cool & Quiet. It would be nice to have both features
operational.

I am using a KV8 mainboard with latest drivers.

check the bios in the power management option... standby mode must be set to
"[S1 (POS) & S3 (STR) Auto]" to switch off the fan coolers too...

bye
