Microsoft's anti spyware seems to be missing out on
scanning data miner cookies. I use Ad-Aware SE Pro as a
primary anti spyware solution. After running beta 1 I ran
Ad-Aware to see if it had picked up all the spyware,
Unfortunatly it seems to miss cookies.

This build does not scan for cookies. It is possible that this
functionality will be included in a further release.

Indeed this build does not scan for cookies. I had the
same findings as Keith. In so far even the free version
of AdAware is complementary to AntiSpyware. On the other
hand, AntiSpyware 'secured' a lot of stuff on my PC that
AdAware had overlooked. So, for the time being I'll
settle for both.

They've decided that Microsoft Antispyware will be available to licensed
users at no additional charge.

There will be a version for managed enterprise environments that will have
costs associate with it.
