Hey folks,
I'm running a Win XP box with all the critical updates.
A few days after updating XP, I have a very odd problem
with IE behavior:
My home page is locked to //www.comcast.net and I can't
change it, even with administrator privileges
Any site that requires me to log in tells me that
my "cookies are rejected," even tho' I've changed the
settings to allow all cookies
I can't get to any windowsupdate pages and even the ms
knowledge base drop down fields for searching aren't
populated with options.
What I've done:
Run spybot (didn't fix it)
Updated norton antivirus, rebooted in safe mode and
scanned...no viruses
Run a variety of worm removal tools
Agggh....maybe format c: is my best option at this point.
Gracias,
m
