When I email pictures as attachments and recepient opens & views them either
by "slide show" or clicking thru them, cookies are interspersed between
legit. pictures.

Could you explain this further as we don't know what Pics you are talking
about?.
Does this the Forwarding Attachment stuff or Picture you have/Made yourself
and attach it to Message and your friend having this prob?.
Tell/Him/Her to scan for malwares and Virues, they may have the problem on
their machine not from your E-mail!.

The "pics" are digital photos I have in "My Photos". I email them as an
attachment. When recepient opens them either 1 at a time or "view as a slide
show" visual "cookies" (HSBC logo Ebay logo, etc. all sites I have visited)
are among legit photos.

Well I don't understand why the Cookies interfering with the Photo if you
didn't create such a script on the Photo itself?.
Try this:
1= Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on General Tab (1st Tab on the left) and you will see a Button called
[ Clear History ..] click on it to clear your History caches, then click on
[Delete Files..] to delete Internet Files created over the time, click on [
Delete Cookies...] to delete your cookies left by visiting websites.

2... You need to be sure your system is clean from malwares and Viruses by
scanning for them.

Ckearing "cookies" does work...But this is a pain everytime I want to attach
photos! Also this problem doesn't really "interfere" with the transmission of
the photos - recepient gets them but also gets visual copy of my cookies as
he clicks thru to view them manually or thru "slideshow" Thanks
