Cookies from the Bankl

Recovering from a bad week involving a virus from MSN ..System restore
problems unresolved, uninstalling all my Norton Products, Acquired McAfee,
lost that temporarily uninstalled. Have MS Anti-Spyware installed, and then
M.S. Baseline Security Analyzer.
Everything was appearing to work smoothly until I went to my online banking,
and the bank & my system tells me that the cookies are not enabled, thus I
cannot sign on. This could be possibly to do with all the re-setting I did
after running the MS Security Analyzer. However, I think that the McAfee set
up has now also locked my Home Page url, and I cannot change it. And changing
the settings on the cookies, seem to have no affect on my Banks' url.

Any suggestions, will be most welcome.

As for your cookie problem, see the troubleshooting info at this site:

As for your home page not being able to be changed:

See this site for possible help and more information:
http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers.htm#home_page

You may also want to check out StartPage Guard -
http://pjwalczak.com/spguard/index.php
StartPage Guard protects your PC from cyberscam, by monitoring status of
your internet browser StartPage and preventing it from any unauthorized
changes.

And to keep from having to manually edit the registry to unlock your
homepage settings, try this little script by Doug Knox, MS MVP:
