Is there a third party cookie manager that will allow only cookies you want
and block all others by default?

you will find that allowing cookies each time you visit
sites with irrate you. best to delete cookies sometimes.
i delete cookies almost everyday and have not had any
problems so far. have done this for years.

You can do that with IE6. Just look at the privacy tab - block all
cookies, and then add 'accept' override for the sites you want to take
cookies from. personally I get by with 'advanced, accept 1st party
cookies, block all third party cookies'.
 
Cookie Pal will enhance the built-in management to a higher
level. By setting IE to prompt on all cookies, you can opt
to Accept, Block, Always or Never. With use you can get
a good database (CPalFilt.Dat) that you can backup or move
to other PC's. For users that don't want the extra layer of
protection, Accepting 1st and blocking 3rd party cookies
is fine. Cookie Pal's web site is found at
