Is there some way to convert my VHS tapes to a DVD?
Is there someway to download my camcorder (not digital) tapes (VHS) to my
PC?

What output sockets are on your camcorder?

You need an analogue capture cared/TV tuner. This can either be PCI (which
is generally better) or USB. It would have a video input plug like a TV and
sometime audio plugs, but usually you'd need a plug to go from your
camera/VCR to the line in on your sound card.

Sure. Buy a standalone DVD/VCR Recorder. Put your VHS tape in, put in
a blank DVD and start recording. These are readily available for about
$150 and up. Much easier than doing it through your computer and maybe
cheaper since you don't have to buy capture hardware.
