Converting to mp3 from wma

I've just bought the plus! pack (Dig media edition) to use
the audio convertor to convert wma to mp3 only to be told
i need a codec to do this - i caan do it the other way
round - though of little use to me at pres !

Any ideas where i get the appropriate codec from ?

why convert to mp3 it will increase your file size
consierbly and the quality is not any better
