converting to avi

Hello
I have purchased the product camtasia to convert pps to
dvd. Somebody advised me that it is simplier to use
producer 2003 to convert to avi. I have downloaded it 3
times and then unistalled it, i have been unable to do
this. Is this possible or is somebody pulling my leg. I
am using pp2002 running xp(not that this has any meaning)

Nola,

I would have thought Camtasia was the way to go. As for Producer, I think
they were pulling your leg. It will incorporate sound and video, but send it
to html. Unless the new version does it, because I certainly haven't looked

For converting pps to avi i always use Presentation to Video Converter. Very good tool and it costs much more cheaply then Camatasia. And i never had problem with final quality. Try it.
