Converting removeable disk to NTSF

I am converting my removeable 256meg drive from FAT32 to
NTSF and it's taken 1 hr already. Should I wait any
longer or is something not working?
 
For a 256MB drive, it will take absolutely ages to convert. Just give it
time.
