Note, the link provided will only give you read access to the NTFS drive,
which in some cases may be sufficient. However, if you need write access to
the drive, the Windows XP CD is bootable. When you boot your computer from
the CD, you will be given an option to Repair or Install. Choose Repair.
This gives you the Recovery Console. Type Help at the Recovery Console
prompt for a list of commands that are available. Additionally, you can
create a set of floppy disks that will give you the same functionality, if
you don't have a bootable XP CD.
You normally boot the XP CD drive direct, and take the immediate R for
Recovery. See "Recovery Console Commands" in Help and Support for what
is then available. If you cannot boot a CD you can get a set of six
