converting macintosh filesto windows format

Hope someone can give me the definitive answer on this one

Is it possible to copy files written on a Mac so that they can loaded onto a
windows 95 or 98 based pc ?

Note : the Mac in question is somewhat old but hopefully the files in
question can be uploaded onto a later bit of kit

No, no definitive answer could be given without knowing what type files they are. Certainly a text file can be read over a network
share. There are conversion utilities available for various filetypes. (e.g. Word for the Mac has a way to save in numerous
formats.)
