How can I convert my files from Approach to Access? Also, from Lotus Word
Pro to Word? Word Pro is going out of business and I have to figure out a
way to convert all my files.

Look for a file format that is the same in both programs. Usually that will
be .RTF. Save them in RTF, read them in Word and save them as .DOC.
Similar for Approach to access. Perhaps DBIII or DBIV. Look in the File
Type boxes of the Save and Open windows for formats to use.

FYI, IBM/Lotus/Word Pro are definitely NOT going out of business, so please don't
give people that impression! The latest version of Word Pro (late fall 2006) is
R9.8.4 and it runs nicely on Vista. Aside from that, Graham is correct to suggest
the method in the FAQ. Open the docs in Word Pro and do a Save As to .Doc or .RTF
format.
