Converting FAT32 to NTFS

I recently converted from a FAT32 file system to an NTFS
using the Windows XP convert tool. My problem is that
after the conversion, the cluster sizes created were only
512 bytes, as opposed to 4K. I realized that I should've
realigned the partition beforehand to a 4K boundary, but
that's hindsight now.

Is there a user-friendly program out there that I could
use to realign the partition? I don't want to reformat
my hard drive and reinstall XP (I have ME installed
originally and upgraded to XP), but if need to, I guess I
will. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
