Converting External Drive to NTFS

Hello all,

What is the proper way to convert my LaCie External drive from the standard
FAT32 to NTFS? It's connected via USB 2.0 and I'm using a Dell Inspiron
Laptop running WinXP home. Mega thanks in advance!!
