converting excel files to excel 2002

When trying to print Excel 1997 files with Excel 2002
program, the page will print correctly until about 3/4 way
down the page and at that time the lines do not space
correctly and any underlining will run into the line above
or below it. How do you correct this problem without
having to delete the old file and create a new one?
 
Sounds like a print driver problem rather than a conversion problem. 97 and XP
are same format
so there is no conversion needed.
