converting excel data into avery template

I have a listing of names and addresses in an excel spreadsheet. i would like
to print these addresses using an avery template.

how do i do this? do i convert the excel spreadsheet into word? can i print
address labels directly from excel?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
