Converting ATA drive to IDE

Is there an adapter that will allow me to install a Serial ATA drive
with an IDE cable? My girlfriend accidentally purchased a new ATA drive
but we need one that's IDE.

Better idea - find something else to do with your time besides giving
wrong and sometimes dangerous advice to people who need real help.

Take it back and exchange it.

If that deosn't fly with the store. There are adapters for everything.
IT's not the best idea, though.
