Converting Access 2000 to Access 2003 - PROBLEMS
I have taken a simple application that has basic tables, forms, queries and reports and converted it from Access 2000 to Access 2003. I am getting an error that occurs right after the initial home page form is displayed. The error is: " An error occured while loading 'Form_ The name of the form'. Do you want to continue loading the project?" It has the three options: YES, NO, HELP. If I select YES, it goes on loading the application. I clicked on the NO button, and it keeps repeating the error. I clicked on the HELP button, and it brings up a help screen, but it's blank! That's not any help at all. I get this error on 2 forms. The same option results on both of them.
Anyway, I cannot see anything wrong with the forms that this error occurs on. I have 75 forms in this application, although about 10% of them are "old" and not used anymore. The error occurs on 2 of the active forms. Some parts of this application were actually created in Access 97, but only one of the 2 forms were created in 97, the other was created in Access 2000. When I converted the original Access 97 application (years ago) to Access 2000, there were no errors then, or any problems since then.
The Application that I'm testing now is an addition to the original created in Acess 97. I have tried bringing up the original application that has been running for years in Access 2000 without any problems, and the same errors occured. I have tried "converting" the application to Access 2003, and It has no effect on the errors I get. They still occur.
Does anyone have any ideas? Have you seen this error before. Appreciate any insight you can share with me.
