Converting a WORKS file to a WORD document

Is there a way to convert a MS Works document to a MS WORD
document in Office 2000?

This is the same question i have. I have a works text
file from a version i don't know, and when i try to
convert it, it ends up with several paragraphs intact,
but some paragraphs are fragmented, and some are
incomplete. Is there a trick to this? I am using Word
2000.
