converting a word/excel file to PDF

Hi there!

Just wondering if someone can tell me how I can convert an excel worksheet
or a word document to a PDF. I'd rather not have to buy any software to do
this as this is for a non profit organization looking to invoice customers.
I'm up for other suggestions- its just a way to create an invoice and then
send to clients without having data changed.

There are pdf writing solutions available from a number of sources at
various prices from free to expensive. See the link on the favourites page
