convert word document to pdf file

You must have full version of Adobe... not just the reader

If so ... Start in Adobe and have it read the file (it will convert) and
then save... be sure to select PDF... been a long time... if you have the
Full version it should be pretty quick
 
There are a number of other ways to create PDFs, using free programs
available for download from the Web. Here are a few you can look up with
Google:

- pdf995
- GhostScript/GhostView
- OpenOffice
