Convert WMV to AVI (XviD)?

I have a bunch of WMV videos I want to convert to AVI (XviD). Any good
freeware for this?

Only program i know of that will convert wmv to avi(be it either
Xvid or any other avi) is a program by the name of Blaze media Pro.
It's not freeware, but it does have a trial period of 30 days, I
think...and it will convert WMV9 to almost any type of avi.

TempGenc will convert a WMV to any flavor of AVI.

What about Avisynth + DirectShowSource ?
(Just think, not tried )
