Convert Windows Mail ( Vista) emails to Outlook 2003

Q

I would like to transfer my Windows Mail ( Vista) emails to Outlook
2003.

I can convert my emails to eml files but do not know an easy way to
import these into Outlook 2003.

If you have an idea please post.

Thanks in advance

It's far easier than that. Just import from Windows Mail into Outlook. File
Import and Export > Import Internet Mail and Addresses.
Follow the same steps you would to import from OE.

Configure Outlook on the Vista machine. Then in Windows Mail, click
FIle>Export>Messages.

If you do it that way rather than exporting from Windows mail, don't all the
modified dates (by which Outlook archives amongst other thins AFAIK) get
changed to the date of import?

Presumably Outlook is installed on the same machine? Is so, in Windows mail
do File-Export and follow the instructions....

Right. I was afraid OP had missed the option to either export or import
directly because "Windows Mail" does not appear in Outlook 2003's import
menu.
