convert vbs to exe freeware?

So far I can only find shareware, commercial products to do this. Does
anyone know of a freeware version?

If the only reason is to "hide" the code, just use ScriptEncoder, otherwise,
convert it to VB instead (then compile it with a VB compiler such as
make.exe). Native VBS cannot be "compiled" on their own
