? convert to PDF file?

Is it possible to convert a Word Document to a PDF file? If yes, how? If
not then any suggestions on how to transfer or something? Thanks.

Word has a PDF creation function (see View-Toolbars-PDFmaker menu), but it's
terribly slow. You need a PDF writer app in order to print to a PDF. This
comes with Acrobat (the full install, not Reader); or there are some
shareware products around. One called "CutePDF" I've seen used...

Word doesn't have a CreatePDF function!

There is a downloadable add-on for Word 2007, which provides the function
for that version, available from Microsoft, but for earlier Word versions
you will need a third party solution.

Acrobat costs an arm and a leg and is usually the preserve of business
users. For the rest there are plenty of cheaper (even free) options.
PrimoPDF is free and works well, albeit with some limitations.
