Convert text to number

Any one know how to convert text to number, thanks

eg: 1000 (text) to 1000 (number)
 
You can go to <format <cell <number tab and select (number
insteadof text)
OR
You can copy and special paste the value.
 
Copy an empty cell. Select range of data. Paste Special>Add>OK>esc.
