Convert ribbon to old style

Is it possible in the home and student version of Word 2007 to revert back to
the old style action bar?

Not unless you get one of the add-ins that have been created (not by
Microsoft). This will take you to a review of what is available

Besides the "pay for" add-ins mentioned the article Rae points you to there's a
free download that will put the old menu commands in a Ribbon tab for you
(similar to the "Classic menu"):

that one now, did it?

I don't know when Guy Gallo put it up there This isn't from MSFT, but a
Word expert who's been around a LONG time. He was a regular in the Word
compuserve forum back in the 90's.
