I have 2 hard drives in my system. The system was originally a Windows 98
system which I converted to a dual-boot system with Windows XP Pro SP2 as the
primary OS. The master drive is a 250 GB IDE drive with the following
partitions:
1. C: (FAT32, active primary partition with Windows 98 installed)
2. D: (FAT32, logical partition within the C: primary partition)
3. H: (NTFS, bootable primary partition with Windows XP Pro SP2 installed)
4. I: (NTFS, primary partition)
The slave drive has one logical partition on it, the E: drive.
I've installed Norton Ghost and tried to use it to create images of my
drives as backups but keep getting the error message that there are no
primary partitions available. Is there a way to convert my I: drive from a
primary partition to a logical partition within the H: primary partition
without losing any data on the I: drive? I have PartitionMagic 2003 but am
afraid to use it.
Is this possible or am I stuck with what I have?
Thanks,
