What are the specific steps to convert a PowerPoint presentation to a PDF file?

Do you have Abode Acrobat Professional on your computer? If so, File > Print
 
Yes, but can anything/anyone convert a notes page view to a PDF retaining the
links from the slide area? I cant see how

No, afraid not ... there are no links on the slide in PPT's notes view, so
there's nothing for a PDF conversion utility to convert.
