Convert outlook.ost file to outlook.pst file?

My company is closed down, I have only my outlook.ost file from work which I
would very very want to access in my outlook on my computer at home. Is this
possible.

I am desperate, thanks in advance.

Hi Rune,
please create a new profile and import the ost file in it!

That won't work, because the .ost file is tied to the original profile. If
the user no longer has the original profile, then the only solution is to
get a tool like ost2pst to hack the security on the file.

Hi, I tried the ost2pst but it shows an error and don't convert the file but
at http://officerecovery.com/exchange/ , they have a program which convert
the ost-file to a pst-file. I tried the demoversion and the file was
converted. The content of the emails was not converted since it is a demo. I
will consider to buy the full-version of the program.

Thank you both for your answers in this case - if anyone have a freeware
program for this purpose I would be very very happy.
