convert mp3 to ATRAC ?

Hello,

If any of you out there have had to use Sony's SonicStage software, you'll
know how horrible it is !. Is there any software which will simply convert
mp3s to the ATRAC format (various bitrate settings etc) so i can burn it to
a CD for use on my AIWA ATRAC portable walkman ?

Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question, but I'd strongly
advise against converting audio files from one lossy compression format
(mp3) to another (ATRAC). You're much better off going back to the
original source (usually a CD) and coding directly from there.
