convert mac to win

My husband has Outlook at work on his Macintosh and wants
to transfer his email to our pc at home. We have Outlook
at home, too. (Neither version is express!). We only need
to transfer the mail -- not the contacts or calendar or
anything else. How does one go about trasfering the mail
from a mac to a pc without having to just forward it all
and have it all appear to be from him!?

Thanks,
Margaret

I believe Outlook on a Mac uses a PST, just like Outlook on a PC. So, you
should be able to transfer your PST from the Mac to the PC and open it on
the PC. The Mac should have a tool to write the file as a PC-format file.

By the way, what I told you will transfer ALL Outlook information, since all
items are kept in the same PST. You can just delete the info you don't want
once it's on the PC. Alternatively, create a new PST and move to it only
the mail items. Then transfer that PST to the PC.
