Convert Excel to comma delimited text

:( I figured that would be the easy answer, but I can't seem to do what
you suggest. When I see the file in Windows Explorer, I don't see the
extension. Even when I change the View to Detail or List, I'm not able
to alter the extension. I have Office XP and Windows XP Home. Am I
doing something wrong?

in the Windows Explorer goto 'tools - Options - View' and uncheck 'hide
file extensions'

Note: Not sure about this translation. So look for something similar in
your English version
