Convert English language text file to Hindi

Is there any software available to convert an English language text document
to Hindi language document by using dictionary based translation (not
transliteration).
For example:
The sentence : My name is Joseph
Should be converted to : ???? ??? ????? ??

Hello S N,

Google Translation supports English and Hindi.
And as far as I know they also provide a webservice.
So you could use that webservice for providing the translation.
Best regards,

Martin

So you want to write your very own translation software. I wish you good
luck with that.

If you could live with word-by-word translation, you would "just" have
to make a translation table. Then take a word and take the translation.
But with this method you will get very poor results, à la

German: Ich weiß es nicht.
Poor: I white it not.
English: I do not know.

If you can live with this, then this would be the way to go.

Otherwise you would have to translate phrases, which will result in a
huge translation table.

As I said before: Good luck!

Best regards,

Martin

I'm afraid you're out of luck. I do English to Spanish Translation, and even on that site (can't remember the exact URL) you can find links to different robot translators, some developed by independent agencies... but I work as a translator in three different languages and the best ones are online and quite well known: google and babel talk.
You have some apps and modules for web design that let you translate documents and websites, but never heard one with pdf. Keep in mind that the software wouldn't just replace characters, since pdfs are read-only... you would need to write a program to design a new pdf from scratch, puting the text in place and copying the looks of the original.

Manual is the best way to go, I'm afraid. And if you are using machine translators for anything other than getting a general idea of what something says, ALWAYS have someone proof read and edit it.
