Hi,
I have a Windows 2000 PC and Windows XP Home.
I would like to control the Windows 2000 (host) PC from the XP Home PC. I
understand that XP home has remote desktop client but what would I need on
the Windows 2000 PC?

Thanks,

ian

Nope.

You need Terminal Server running on the Windows 2000 machine. Terminal
Server is a seperate system from Microsoft, but two come with Windows
2000 server (not workstation). The sevice just has to be enabled.

You also need Terminal Client for the XP machine. Home doesn't come with
the program, but you can download it from Microsoft (it's free).

courtney sends....

If you don't want to purchase anything and assuming Windows 2000
Professional., not server:
