control panel

I have XP PRO + SP2. Every time I use Iexplorer the control panel stops
responding. There is no debugging info, so I don't know what is causing the
problem. I thought it was Sun's Java - Windows incompatibility, but after
removing java the problem still persists. Any clues?

Reinstall computer without sp2.......
