Hi. I have a minor problem in the Control Panel add or remove software
portion. For some unknown reason the entry Norton AntiSpam, appears in the
installed list twice.Their is no change/remove function available in either
entry. I have searched the registry, etc. and can find no reference for
these entry's. I have also run JV16 program and it doesn't show these
entry's. They don't seem to be causing any problems, I would like to remove
them though. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When you start to remove a program using the Add/Remove Programs
Control Panel, it can be frustrating to see programs you've deleted
long ago. If you're the industrious type and don't mind editing the
Registry, you can remove these programs from the list. (Note: As
always, we recommend first backing up your Registry files--User.dat
and System.dat, hidden files on the root of your hard drive.)

First, start the Registry Editor by going to Start, Run and typing

RegEdit

Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall.
You'll see a list of all the programs available in your Add/Remove
Programs Control Panel. You can simply select an entry from the list
on the left, press the Delete key, and confirm to remove it. Close the
Registry Editor and restart Windows; the item will be gone from your
Add/Remove Programs list.

suggestion's? Jack
