control panel problem

When I click on control panel toolbar and all icons on
descktop disapear leaving just the
wallpaper,icons/toolbar then reappear and Iam able to use
control panel but some icons which were in toolbar are
then missing and only reappear when restarting the
computer only for the above problem to reoccur whenever
trying to use control panel
 
Hi Lisa,

From your description it sounds like explorer is crashing on you. You refer
to icons appearing in the toolbar. What do you mean by toolbar? Where is
this toolbar located? Are you seeing this toolbar in an explorer window?
Also, what is the Control Panel toolbar? Can you describe in more detail
how you are clicking the control panel toolbar?
