I've had problems with Hotmail and Win32 closing. A
suggestion to cure this included uninstalling and re-
installing Internet Explorer. I tried to do this but the
control panel link to removing programmes doesn't work.
Are all these preblems linked and if so any ideas on what
I can do? Please help I've tried removing msblaster but
got told it was clean anyway so I'm not sure what else I
can do

What does a scan with a current antivirus program (meaning a version not
later than 2002 and using updated virus definitions) show? MSBlaster
isn't the only Windows virus out there! Also, remove spyware with
Spybot Search & Destroy from www.security.kolla.de and Ad-aware from
www.lavasoftusa.com. When you are sure the machine is clean, does the
problem persist? If yes, then post back for more help with details
about your system and what you've done to troubleshoot.

Malke,

I can't run the anti virus software Norton tells me
that "Symantic integrator could not initialize the
current frame class. Please make sure that you did not
directly run the integrator" I just clicked the icon and
have no idea what this means.

Thanks for getting back to me, I do have the spybot
software so will try removing it but any idea what the
Norton ,message means?

Hey, Brendan - Usually when you can't run antivirus software, it is
because you are infected with a virus that breaks the av program,
something like Klez or Yaha, etc. You can try going to one of the
on-line virus scanners, like the one at TrendMicro or McAfee. Another
thing to try is scanning with a tool like McAfee's Stinger. Get Stinger
here: http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ and run it in Safe Mode. You
don't have to install it. Stinger looks for around 30 of the most
common viruses (as opposed to the 60,000+ in a regular av program). or
you may decide to just call a local computer repair tech to clean it
for you. Please post back if you need more help. It'll all work out
eventually :-) .
